Get rid of extra stuff
Going through closets and drawers and getting rid of all the stuff you don’t need or use will not only free up space but also make your house feel less cluttered. Having a garage sale or selling items online may also let you earn some extra cash!
Clean carpets
If your carpets are looking a little worn there are plenty of carpet cleaning services that will come to your home and professional steam clean your carpets in less than a day. This can be pricy, so if you’re looking for a less expensive alternative, you can rent a steam cleaner from most hardware stores.
Wash linens
Wash blanket, curtains, and other linens to get rid of dust and freshen up your living spaces.
Spruce up the exterior
The outside of your house probably needs some attention too. Plant flowers and other plants, touch up exterior paint, power-wash your home’s exterior, and clean out gutters.
