[custom_frame_left][/custom_frame_left]Both David and Lynda Trujillo have worked out all of their lives. But it wasn’t until they hit that great ol’ age of 40 that they began to realize that working out just wasn’t enough, and that their fitness level wasn’t where they wanted it to be. David, a recently retired Battalion Chief with the Santa Fe Fire Department, and Lynda, who has worked for 24 years with the Human Services Department, wanted to find a way to retire and give back to their community. They decided to open up ReJuVn8 Nutrition.
While in the SF Fire Department David held many job titles, including Fire Department Training Officer. He was responsible for making sure that all of the fire fighters were in tip-top shape so they could perform the demanding, labor-intensive job of a fire fighter. He developed and implemented a physical fitness course called Air Management. Lynda works full-time for the state. She is also the head swimming coach at St. Michael’s High School, and a certified group fitness instructor teaching everything from spinning to water aerobics. David and Lynda have two children. Daughter Clarissa is a senior and the Captain of the St. Mikes Varsity Cross-County team as well as the Captain of the Varsity Swimming team. Son Kevin is a freshman on the St. Mikes Football and Wrestling team.

The Trujillos are a very active family, but they were lacking one important ingredient – NUTRITION. After being introduced to the Herbalife product, they began to see immediate results. David and Lynda shed 20 pounds each while keeping lean muscle mass. Clarissa improved on her endurance races, shaving several minutes and seconds off her personal best times. Kevin put on 10 pounds of lean muscle mass, which in turn enhanced his performance on the wresting mats.
The Trujillo family opened up Rejuvn8 Nutrition on January 9, 2012. Within four months, they have touched the lives of many Santa Feans. Offering a variety of flavored Herbalife Meal Replacement shakes, protein shakes, teas, and nutritional supplements, Rejuvn8 has everything you need to stay healthy and young. According to Lynda, “We have been able to help so many lose weight, gain weight, maintain weight, or enhance their performance.” They don’t just stop at nutrition either – they take part in community fitness events with their customers and community. On Saturday, May 10, the Trujillos, along with 20 other Rejuvn8 members, participated in the first ever NM Warrior Dash in Edgewood. Then on Sunday, May, 11, they headed to the Albuquerque Zoo for the annual Zoo run.
Every Sunday at 10:00am the Trujillos lead a fitness workout, FIT CLUB, at the Patrick Smith Park. It is free to anybody wanting to get in a fun and challenging workout. Afterwards, everyone caravans to Rejuvn8 where they replenish and fill up with good, nutritional shakes.
