2012 has been a year of great success and expansion for State Employees Credit Union. In an effort to continue to serve our growing membership, we are excited to announce the opening of two new branches, increasing the number of SECU branch locations to seven.
We celebrated the opening of the new Belen branch, located at 19390 N. Highway 314, on September 28, 2012. The grand opening featured games, music, food, and prizes and our members were able to meet the employees that will be serving them at the new location.
We will be celebrating the opening of our new Santa Fe branch, located at 4920 Promenade Blvd., on November 16, 2012 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. Food will be provided by Tortilla Flats and DJs from 104.1 The Edge will be providing musical entertainment. Members who attend the grand opening will also be eligible for a variety of prizes including three iPads, gift cards, cash, and other prizes.
In addition to the new branches in Belen and Santa Fe, crews have also broken ground at a new site in Rio Rancho. The Rio Rancho branch will be located at 7851 Enchanted Hills. It is expected to be completed and open to members by the end of the first quarter of 2013.
SECU isn’t only expanding its physical locations. We are also making an effort to enhance members’ accessibility to services. Members now have opportunities to engage with SECU employees through various social media outlets and a web chat support system. In addition to our online banking features, we also offer online loan and new member applications on the SECU website. Finally, members can access their account any time, from anywhere, with the SECU Mobile Banking app.
SECU remains one of the top credit unions in the country and we look forward to continuing to offer members increased ways to access services.
“The success of State Employees Credit Union can be attributed to the continued loyalty of our members who support us each and every day,” says President/CEO Harold Dixon. “On behalf of the staff and volunteers, we simply say ‘thank you’.”
