Fourth of July is just a couple of days away, but if you don’t already have plans we’ve listed a few activities taking place around the area.
Pancakes on the Plaza
A unique 4th of July event, Pancakes on the Plaza is synonymous with 4th of July in Santa Fe. Sponsored by the Rotary Club and held on the 4th at the plaza downtown, breakfast is served from 7-12 and the craft fair runs all day. Tickets are $6.00 in advance or $7 on the 4th. 4th of July Community Fireworks Extravaganza
On July 4th, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Fe will host the community fireworks show at the Municipal Recreation Center. The show begins at dusk.
Los Lunas 4th of July Celebration
Held at Daniel Fernandez Memorial Park, this festival has it all; music, games, parade, fireworks, and more. Gates open at 4:00 pm on July 4th.
Rio Rancho 4th of July Event
Rio Rancho’s 4th of July Bike Parade begins at 10am and heads east from Country Club Drive down Southern Boulevard and end on Pinetree Road near the Esther Bone Memorial Library and the Rio Rancho Veterans Monument Park. There will also be fireworks and an outdoor movie at the Rio Rancho High School Football Stadium, located on Loma Colorado Boulevard.
