There is nothing quite like fall in New Mexico. Make the most of all this season has to offer by participating in some of the following events and activities.
Explore Fall Color
Northern New Mexico’s glittering, golden aspens are hallmarks of autumn. It’s hard to know, however, exactly when and where the leaves will turn, but experts anticipate the best views will occur around the first week of October. Visit newmexico.org/fall-events/fall-colors for info on routes and locations.
Visit a Pumpkin Patch
Fill your thermos up with cider and take the kids for a day of play in a pumpkin patch. New Mexico’s best-known farms include:
• Galloping Grace, Rio Rancho
• The Maize Maze
• McCall’s Pumpkin Patch
• Wagner’s Farmland Experience
